Beaver Creek Resort is an awesome ski resort near Avon, Colorado and is run by Vail Resorts. Beaver Creek boasts the ambiance of a modern resort coupled with the unhurried feel of an alpine village, where visitors from all over the enter the gates and leave everyday life in the dust. The resort encompasses three villages, the main Beaver Creek Village, Bachelor Gulch, and Arrowhead. Beaver Creek is a host of Alpine skiing World Cup events including the newly announced 2015 world championships. During the 1980–81 ski season, Beaver Creek opened along with the first hotel property, The Charter at Beaver Creek. Now other accommodations include the Highlands Lodge, Highlands Slopeside, Mcoy Peak, The Hyatt, The Pines, Oxford Court, St James and many more. The Real Estate market has proven to benefit all that own. Beaver Creek was voted #4 in Ski Magazine in 2011. It is only 20 minutes from the Eagle Airport.
